Both teams play the same three teams this week. Mahtomedi, spring lake park and lakeville north. Any predictions for these games? How will these games influence the rankings?

I think the biggest impact will be when the ultimate play each other.

For me, the impact will be huge. Having common opponents with many top Class A teams now will help out a lot.

Rapids, Hibbing, and Virginia will not lose any games in this tournament.

If I were to bet money on whether any team here would lose all or win all of their games, the only thing I would put money on is Spring Lake Park losing all of them. Even that I wouldn't put much on.

I could see SLP surprising any of these teams. Lakeville North beat Eagan; nuf said. I could easily see Mahtomedi not losing a game.

Ya think????
I don't know that all three ranger teams will sweep, but it is certainly possible I'd say. They got some great hockey up there this year by the looks of it...... I am going to say that GR wins three, Hibbing takes 3 and Virginia drops one...not sure which one....just one.

Grand rapids 12
Slp 4
Was 4-3 at one point in the second period but the panthers took a lot of penalties and couldnt stop the thunder hawks power play.

hibbing over slp 7-4, was 6-0 after 2 then misterios calls and penalty after penatly gave them some momentum

The calls in the 1st and 2nd were weak calls against the panthers. Which gave hibbing momentum. Hibbing scored scored 5 powerplay goals in the game and 1 with a delayed call. SLP scored 3 of their 4 on powerplay. The calls weren't mysterious they just started calling it both ways in the 3rd. Overall the refs were not consistient. Game was pretty even 5 on 5.

Virginia played a bad game tonight but I wouldn't say they're getting worse. They had a good win last night against Lakeville North, who Hibbing has yet to play and by the way tied Rapids tonight.

Rapids did not have a bad game at all they put 50 on a great goalie who absolutely stood on his head. That kid is amazing netminder. Now I see how Eagan lost to them. The tender will win some games.

who cares about "SLP" anyways . Hibbing controlled the puck 80% of the game and had at least 10 missed goal oppertunities right in the slot. Yes SLP scored but because the jackets were getting lazy in the 3rd period all were weak goals. and even when the jackets were on the PK Decenzo and Johnson still skated circles around everybody . Guess we will have to see what happens when Hibbing takes on Lakeville North.

Excited to see how Hibbing handles Lakeville North today.
Also, what happened to Virginia? How did they lose to Mahtomedi?

lakeville won 6-2, alot closer than the final score, hibbing with 3 pipes and way more chances. lakeville first goal was a fluke and got two empty netters, shots about even
