Right when the jags get on a roll they quickly fall. I was at the game and surprised how well the prior lake goalie played, but once again it was the lack of Jeffersons goalie and retalitory penalties that lost them the game. Think the shots were 45-26? Still think the jags can get on a roll here maybe make a run for it

I also watched the JFK / PL game. Prior Lake seemed to take advantage of the opportunities better. PL also had a goal or 2 waived off. Jefferson had some good opportunities, however it looked like most of their shots were from the outside. A few big body battles in front of both nets. I noticed PL beat So. St Paul their previous game in OT - and think So St Paul played HM tight. Go figure...

Each of those games I commented on could be played 10 times and I doubt any team would win more than 6. Perhaps including AHA/EP - the Stars are a complete unknown this year...talk about good wins and bad losses...

Completely agree. Watched AHA and New Prague last night - AHA won 4 to 3. It was tied 3 to 3 in 3rd until NP self destructed. Hard to figure AHA

I'm sure their legs were shot, and their back-up probably played.... I agree though, I can't figure them out

Hard as it may be for some, give NP some credit. They have been playing some very good hockey lately compared to the beginning of the season. I agree that AHA was probably "Tired" but they are kids and have a lot of stamina to practice every day. It was a good game and the NP goalie made some fantastic saves especially when AHA had a 5 on 3 in the third. Some were questioning the way the refs were protecting the AHA players.

I agree here also, mostly. Of course I am biased but oh well. I fear New Prague. I think they have the best chance to beat AHA in this conference. They are a hard working team that really wants to beat AHA. They come out and skate hard, hit hard, bring loud fans to their games. This year they were lucky enough to get AHA after they played Minnetonka, lost in OT, played Hill Murray, lost, and played Eden Prairie, won in less than 7 days. That is tough no matter how strong you are. AHA also played their back-up, he needs some time also. So do not say anything bad about AHA only beating NP 4 - 3. One other point, the refs did not help AHA at all, both teams were chippy and getting away with all sorts of crap.
One more point, have you watched how teams go after other teams star, no pun, players? for example, I watched as Joesph LaBate was speared right at center ice in the third period. No call, so if there was protecting someone forgot this one.

I was not pulling for either team - but thought NP outplayed them at times. AHA may have been tired but they ran their first line as regualr as usual. NP played well.

Watched Eagan - PL saturday - Eagan won 3 to 1 - was 2 to 1 with 2 minutes to go and PL on the power play. PL turned over the puck (bouncing) which led to Eagan's thrid goals. Shots were not as reflectively close as the game was. PL appears to be another team playing much better as they had multiple chances late in the game - just didn't finish - and Eagan was running their 1st line.

It was not on the list, but Legacy beat Moose Lake 6 to 4 yesterday. Most people had them last in Two River Conference. Last Saturday they gave Mora a ride for their money.
