How much do JV results matter?

I know someone on the Tonka JV and so I decided to take a peek at their results for the first time. I saw that they have 1 tie and no losses according to the hub through 19 games. I know that not all teams have all their scores reported, but how much do JV results matter for the future, or should one look more at Jr. A and Bantam results for something like that?

Depends on the program. Bantam state champs and other contenders usually do well three years later.

Who was their tie to? Thought they still had perfect going.

According to the Hub, EP 1-1 on the 27th.

JV results need to be taken into account. With that said you have to look at the individual team. Like how many players are graduating, leaving from the Varsity, or a possible injury, that need to be replaced. And as mentioned look at the Bantam A team some of those 9th graders might make the varsity next year. We are talking about young men who's bodies are developing differently depending on maturity.

Take them into account when you are doing preseason talk.

After the season starts, toss them out the window.

Exactly.

Bantam A is the group that matters for the future.
Not that JV players will not make varsity and contribute but the best sophs are playing varsity. Bantam A players moving up - some will make vasity - and the returning juniors from varsity will be the mainstay of the future.

Surprising, especially sense I thought EP was struggling.

Agreed on every statement.
