When does each section determine the seeds for the playoffs. Please post the dates for your section if you have them.

They usually have all the coaches get together the weekend before sections get underway.

7AA is also usually the last Wed. night of the regular season.

Glad to see 8AA is actually getting together and discussing the seedings. That didn't happen last year.

I am not sure if they are meeting or just faxing.

Faxing is the way to go.

Each coach rates the teams in the section then teams are seeded according to their average rating. It's quick and simple; a better alternative instead of having everyone meet.

Maybe it is easier, but it is risky. Last year I got the official voting document faxed to me by mistake when it was suppose to go to the Hopkins coach. I filled it out and faxed it back. Why do you think Benilde was placed 4th?

Faxing is the method for 8AA, and I would guess 6A also. May differ on perspective as to the value of face-to-face discussions. Have seen it be productive when there has to be some justification to back it up. 8)

I believe 6A does a conference call. Pretty sure that's what happened last year. I don't see much problem with the conference call either. As long as there is some place for argument to take place, it works for me. Faxing doesn't give teams a chance to move up and down based on a good, solid argument.

Fine, then BSM gets to lose in the section semis instead of the finals. Pretty typical year.
