What low seed makes the tournament?

What low seed (3-8) has the best chance to make it to St. Paul? We all pick the 1-2 seeds, but each year there is always a surprise? Who might this be and why.

I agree with your perspective; any one of those teams have the game to make it out of 6AA; however, I wouldn't necessarily be shocked if the 1 seed made the trip to the X.gitter wrote:If I had to put money on it, I would say 6AA.
EP, BSM, Tonka, Wayzata. 1 game only - I think any one of these teams can beat the other on a given night. Therefore i wouldn't be shocked if the 1 seed made it to state or if the 4 seed did.
Mankato East seems to be the everyone already agreed on.CB00 wrote:What low seed (3-8) has the best chance to make it to St. Paul? We all pick the 1-2 seeds, but each year there is always a surprise? Who might this be and why.
I agree whoever (Stillwater or WBL) gets the number three seed, has somewhat of a chance of getting to Saint Paul.TestTubeHockey wrote:4AA - If stillwater ends up a 3 seed they could possibly go......depending on goal tending. They would have to be low scoring games.
There is no chance. Hill has this locked up. This is the one section that you know nothing less than a one seed will be heading on to the X.HMHockey943 wrote:I agree whoever (Stillwater or WBL) gets the number three seed, has somewhat of a chance of getting to Saint Paul.TestTubeHockey wrote:4AA - If stillwater ends up a 3 seed they could possibly go......depending on goal tending. I agree, I dont see much chance for any upset here baring HM having a horrible game.FREDFLINTSTONE wrote:There is no chance. Hill has this locked up. Usually teams like AHA and HM give up losing for Lent.UntouchableFlow wrote:I wouldn't say that Hill has it locked, because that could be the curse that causes them not to get to state this year. That being said though, I love Hills chances to make it to state, and to win state. If you guys haven't learned by now, you don't bet against Hill come March.
A dark horse title for the Jags fits perfectly for them this year. Teams like Burnsville, AHA, and Edina need to take them seriously; come sectional play.Stateofpuck09 wrote:Ive been a Jefferson Jags fan for some time now and for once in the season they're 100% healthy and they've shown that they can play with some top teams in state and like many have said before this year anyone can play with anyone and I personally think the Jags have what it takes to be the "Dark horse" IMO
All I am saying is that of the 8 sections, Hill has the best chance to get to the X. Other teams in that section should start throwin the ball around.gophs1616 wrote:They said HM was a shoe in 09 and we saw what Stillwater did. If Stillwater goaltending is on I can see them making it. I can also see CDH coming up big in sections and competing for the state title. When both teams want to play they are high caliber teams.
