Anybody know why 4AA and 5AA are later than the rest?
All AA section semi - finals are held on 2/26 except 4AA and 5AA. Does it have something to do with availability of the arena's?
Just curious

So people can go to all the different games. You can't put them on the same day that would make it impossible to see the majority of the section finals. Some people are a little hockey nutz and want to see as many as possible.

That reasoning doesn't hold much water with me. 12 out of 16 section semi finals on 2/26 doesn't allow one to see many other games.

It took a while, but it's nice to see another Pony coming over to the Hill-Murray side!

I would guess that it has to do with the availability of the Colisseum - as it appears that 3AA, 4AA and 5AA all play their semifinals and finals at the Coliseum. Logistically they couldn't play 6 semifinal games in one day there.
