I saw this kid play against white bear the other night and he made some of the most amazing saves. He had 45 saves i think? Lets face it if your goalie is playing hot anything could happen. Could they knock off hill?

They might not even get out of the quarterfinals, let alone getting by Hill Murray. I give them a 0.000001% chance to get by the Pioneers.

With the way the seasons gone so far, I say anything can happen even this, although I don't see this happening.

The only reason i ask is because of some of the teams roseville has played (wayzata, burnsville, lakeville south) all have been very very close games against quality teams... (NSP has no chance

)

Lets just hope someone beats them.......it would be a fitting end to the 4 part series in the paper/hockey hub.

Not to mention hill murray has one of the weakest schdules ive ever seen.... (2xTartan,2xNSP,2xHenrySibley,2xComo) do i need to go on?? this year hill just doesnt have those scoring sensation guys i belive no doubt they will get upsetted...

1. HM schedule is A LOT easier than EP's, Edina's, etc.; however, wouldn't you expect an elite team to do that well, record wise? If you're trying to say HM isn't good, the vast majority of the state highly disagrees with your point of view. Have you seen them play?
2. HM doesn't have Como on their regular season schedule at all. They're only meeting is this Saturday in the 4AA quarter finals. Maybe you should keep listing their schedule; not all of the teams they've played are that bad.
3. HM doesn't have the scoring sensation guys? What!? They have these guys AND plus depth to boot. "Every Hill-Murray skater has at least 1 goal and 7 points. Eleven forwards have at least 6 goals. 13 players have 16 or more points. 8 have 28 or more." Plus take a look at the teams individual
STATS; you'll see the numbers of a Mr. Hockey finalist (Ben Bahe) and other top scorers.

Puck, dont be as nieve as the Hockey Hub and Start Tribune. Isn't that statement the basic outcome of having an easy schedule? When you beat teams 17-0 I would hope most of your players had points.
Again,
In Conference
14 games - 113 goals for (8.07 per game) - 16 goals against (1.14 per game) 14 - 0 record
Outside conference vs AA Opponents,
8 games - 26 goals scored (3.25 per game) 20 goals allowed (2.5 per game) 6-2 record.
That accounts for 22 games, I left out Duluth Marshall, Breck and AHA.

To answer the topic question....
First they have to get by NSP. It will not be easy, as Stillwater already found out.
If they do, then yes they could upset HM, but not likely. I'll give you slim to none chance, with slim running out the back door!

Me too. I couldn't believe the St. Paul paper wasted a front page article on the bus ride to Moorhead.

I guess it is called the PIONEER press.

HM 8 NSP 0. HM 9 NSP 0. NSP 4 Stillwater 0. I think the Ponies should be more focused on trying to score against Tartan than praying that somebody can do something Stillwater can't do & thats beat the Pioneers.

What don't you follow my footsteps and trade allegiance and come over with me to the Green and White side? You would look good in a coon skin cap.
Hey, PPG or pioneers or st.paul. (Or any other H-M fan)... How has Luke Voltin looked this year? I saw a bit of the Hockey Day game.. I loved his skill level when watching a couple JV games last year. He could have played WBL varsity as a frosh last year.

WBL strength of schdule is ranked 11th in state... Hill Murray is 24th... enough said....

If we played them 10 times, they might win 10.
