The Cougars have handled the rebels twice this year but Champlin Park is playing there best Hockey of the year and on a 4 game winning streak.
This is a Dangerous game for Centennial, could the be looking ahead just a bit to Maple Grove?

Im pulling for Armstrong of course but cant see how they can win this one.
The Falcons do bring good goaltending with them and maybe they can hang around and ya never know, can anyone say Spring Lake Park lol.

Elk River will be Dangerous here, they skated with them earlier this month and believe they can win. This is one game I wish I could attend.

Several different dates are listed for the semifinal games in this section. The mshsl site states the 3-2 date at the coliseum. Can that be right since section 4AA plays their semifinals on 3-2 also at the coliseum. I plan to come up for the games but am very confused as to when and where they are. Can you help out a hockey rube with clarification.

The mshsl site is incorrect. Section 5AA games will be played Tuesday at the Coliseum. Use mnhockeyhub.com, they have a better presentation of brackets, schedules and locations.

The MNHockeyHub says the Section 5AA Finals will be at the Coliseum next Friday at 6pm. That's perfect. I'll be there. Will probably stick around for the Section 4AA finals after that at 9pm, as well.

Being a Blaine guy, I would hope so. But I can't see MG not making it to the finals.

Centennial should be worried about winning tonight, I think this is the one upset that will happen in Section 5AA

I went to the Maple Grove and Centennial game 3 weeks ago and it was a really tight game that ended in a 1-1 tie after overtime.

MGC#1 - Well it wasn't a bad pick considering what the other matchups where. Anyway I would prefer that MG plays both of the Kitty's to get there chance to play in the State Tourney. I think it's time the Crimson step up and prove to everyone else that they are legit!!!

What better way to do so than to win the 5AA title.

I agree just seemed like everything was coming together for this upset. nice comeback from the Rebels should make for a fun 3rd period

actually not it was a guess of course but it seemed like the most likely upset of the quater finals cuz champlin park was playing well at the end of the season but in my heart I always new this would be the final four, it always seems to be. it will be a blast at the fair grounds!

Well Centennial beat Champlin 5-1 in late January, while MG beat them 2-1 in early Feb. Couple that with Centennial taking MG to overtime in both games, I'll stand by you were just "WISHIN'" for an upset here.
