Ok, Summary through Thursday, Feb 24th.

For this contest, there were 43 entrants:

The goal was to pick all 16 section winners and to pick the runnerups for Sections 6AA and 6A as the tie breaker.

So that being said, the most correct picks possible is 16.

As of today, 4 High School Hockey teams have made it to the big dance. 3 in Class AA, and 1 in Class A as follows:

Class AA

Eden Prarie
Moorhead

Class A

Hibbing

Congratulations to these teams.

12 more teams are yet to be crowned.

3AA = AV vrs Eagan
7AA = GR vrs DE

1A = New Prague vrs Roch Lourdes
2A = Orono vrs Breck
6A = Wilmar vrs Alex
8A = TRF vrs Warroad

As we all knew, this was a strange season with a lot of unexpected wins for some teams and losses for others.

This apparently caused our prognostications for the section winners to vary quite a bit.

After last nights games, we now do not have any Section Rencounter contestants that can get even 15 of the 16 correct.

We are down to 5 contestants that can still get 14 correct.

The 14's are as follows:
