Since the AA and A split, what is the fewest amount of 1 seed for each class to make the state tournament?

I cant imagine there has been a year where 0 of 8 number seeds made it, but possible only 3 or 4?

anyone know?

Number of #1 seeds to make the tourney by year:

AA
10-11 - All 8 still alive
09-10 - 5
08-09 - 4
07-08 - 4
06-07 - 3
05-06 - 4
04-05 - 6
03-04 - 7
02-03 - 5
01-02 - 4
00-01 - 6
99-00 - 4

That's as far back as my records go. That was an interesting exercise, gets me wondering which 3 or 4 #1 seeds will be upset!
