I'm looking to buy 3 tickets for the 11am Edina-Blaine game. Can somebody please advise me as to how to go about this?

-Are tickets for Thursday already sold out? (Will I have to scalp them?)
-If not sold out, what is the cost of a ticket?
-Will lower bowl tickets be available and are the prices dependent on the quality of the seats?
-If I plan on buying them on Thursday morning how early should I get there to avoid long lines?

I doubt tickets will be sold out for the Thursday morning session. The cost of a ticket is 17 for adults and 11 for students and obviously the earlier you get there the better seats they will still have available. If you go to craigslist and search high school hockey under MPS/St. Paul there are tons of listings. Hopefully you can find some for face value. Good luck!

PEOPLE! The best kept secret in High School hockey is that you can easily buy at face value at the schools for section finals and state tournament games. If you live in SW metro like me you have Edina in the morning session and EP in the late one. They are being sold at all participating schools for their sessions.

It is definitely not sold out, and yes, buying at a convenient school that qualified is the easiest way. I bought mine for the morning session on Thursday.

No game ever sells out beforehand, so you can buy at the X...it's just a matter of how much time you want to wait in line.

Last year I got to the Thursday morning session around an hour before the games started and waited maybe 15 minutes to get to the window, if that helps.

As far as I can tell, quality of the seat is a crapshoot. The earlier the better if you want a lower bowl ticket, but there are no guarantees. For the Thursday morning session I had a great lower bowl seat two years ago; last year I was up in the nosebleeds with this couple from Little Falls--we were surrounded by Edina kids. On semifinal night 2 years ago I had a terrible ticket; last year, I ended up on club level. There's really no rhyme or reason to it.

My daughter and I got to the Excel early and had club level seats. It was fun waiting in line and talking hockey with other people. The time flew by and we had a great day. Evening session tickets were also easy to get although we weren't lucky enough to get club level seats again. There is no need to pay scalpers for tickets if you don't mind waiting in line.

I have a question...If I by a ticket for a 6:00 PM game, will that ticket be good for the 8:00 PM game or do I have to by another ticket?

Yes the ticket will be good for the game at 8 as well. They are sold by the 2 game session.
