How are the Wayzata teams picked? The last two years the Gold team has clearly been better than the blue team. Is the Gold team stacked or just better coached?

The teams are picked evenly. They have always been picked even. It is the coaching that makes the huge difference between gold and blue. Gold's coach is easily one of the best in the league. Blue is still a good team though, its not like Gold dominates them when the two teams play each other. In regions, Gold only beat Blue 3-2

If I played in Wayzata I would be dissapointed if i made the blue team knowing i was getting the weaker of the coaches.
