Tournament Tickets

I am from out of town and am a huge hockey fan and have not been to a state tournament game before. So I am wondering if every one who goes to the games get let in (even if its standing room only) or do they cap off the number of standing room only too? Because if i remember correctly i saw something like the record attendance at a state tournament game was 19,000+ but i know the capacity at the Xcel is in the 18,000's.

I will not be able to get to the excel until around 1 pm ( which is when the white bear vs DE game just about starts) and I don't want to drive all the way if I'm not guaranteed at least to get in with standing room only

Any thoughts?

Scalp and you can get in for sure. Might have to cough up a little though. But who knows, if the A game attendances today are any predictor then you still might get a face value ticket but that is unlikely. Scalping the WBL/DE game and then getting box office tickets for the late session is your best bet. You will definitely be able to get tickets for the evening session games. You can go to the expo in between.

Do you think there will still be scalper tickets available as late as 1PM?

There are tickets available for each AA session that go on sale one hour before the session starts. They are nose bleed seats but at least you are in the X!
