I don't know if this has been mentioned but does anyone else find it strange that he hasn't committed to the Gophers yet? Could this mean the Don might not be around much longer?

I hate to say it... but the problems are deeper then Don. So don't expect much to change if he is "let go" (or if he steps down on his own.)TheNightman wrote:I don't know if this has been mentioned but does anyone else find it strange that he hasn't committed to the Gophers yet? This was intended to be more about Mario than his old man; it just seems hard to believe that he would go anywhere other than Minnesota but I guess crazier things have happened. I do somewhat agree with you though; John Hill is the biggest problem on the coaching staff but that is neither here nor there.zamboni14 wrote:I hate to say it... but the problems are deeper then Don. Just to look at things in a different way...zamboni14 wrote:I hate to say it... but the problems are deeper then Don. It would be the best chance for Mario to get on a #1 PP as a Freshman!PuckU126 wrote:Just to look at things in a different way...zamboni14 wrote:I hate to say it... but the problems are deeper then Don. He's a good player; however, even though his father is a coach of the Rodents, it doesn't mean he'll be committing to the U.
For example: Mike Guentzel (was the D coach for the U) and Ryan Guentzel
*I know Ryan wasn't the same caliber as Mario is in his High School career; however, it can happen. But do you see what I am saying?
Plus he is currently a junior and the season just ended. College talk on where he's going will soon come.
Chances are if the Don remains the head coach of the Rodents, Mario will be a Rodent.

Actually, Tony developed into a pretty good WCHA player. Probably shouldn't have played as much his fr and soph years, but was a bright spot his last 2 yrs.PuckU126 wrote:Indeed.Gopher Blog wrote:Lucia will be back at coach. I can see another Lucia in Maroon and Gold; hopefully better than the last one for the team's sake.
Yes you are correct sorry about thatsachishi4 wrote:cepis is a senior

Somebody better tell Ness before he signs!mnpuckster wrote:The NHL is ALL about size nowadays, and Mario has it. He's a lock to play in the show. Size and skill together, a great NHL combo.
Only when he can use it as an excuse.BodyShots wrote:Isn't daddy against leaving school early?
