good marketing scheme by bernie and the gals. Using team Minnesota in the 1st trny of AAA 2011. Prior to the Brick in July and a team by possibly the same name. I am sold

No Blades, Machine or "Team Minnesota" at the 1998 level. Where are they at?

Not sure who "Team Minnesota" will be at the 2000 level either, as both the Blades and Machine will be in Chicago.

This is an open tournament! They have hardly any teams and most of them are middle of the road at best. This tournament has gone to the dogs.

Team Minnesota are showcase teams made up of who ever they could get to play because they were short a team. Crap!

I want my money back.

Team Pepsi from Manitoba is in the 97 group and beat machine last summer from what I hear so not sure if they agree.

I'm sure whatever team your son plays for would be happy to oblige.

97 looks good and 99 could be but I don't think thats the "good" 99 Pembina. At least its not on there schedule. 98 doesn't look like "invite" level teams as a whole.

Bauer Supreme should be legit, Midwest Crush is legit invite level, LSS is fine. Don't know several of the teams though and the one's I know the name of it's hard to tell "who" they'll bring on the roster for that tourney. AAA is really getting mish mashed in the spring anymore.

The better Minnesota players will be in Chicago, so this tournament will be very watered down. Take your trophy, add it to your web-site and fool some parents into thinking they are good because they win watered down Tourneys.

That was uncalled for. Good luck to all teams playing in the Meltdown.

I am not as familier with 98 level but LSS has proven they can play elite level, If its the Midwest Crush Elite then yes. Granted things change but Bauer isn't an elite team.

I was assuming it was the Midwest Crush Elite's since the rest of the Crush teams are all playing in the open tourney.

The 99 Machine beat the 98 Crush last weekend in the Border Battle. They played as the Attack but it was the same roster. Score was 10 - 1

That was the Crush 98 Open not the Crush 98 Invite team.
Attack was mostly 99 Machine players.

I remember when the melt-down was THE tourny. Now it's like the third string this weekend. That Alliance really worked out well.

Third String? Watch some hockey before you judge. 97 class was highly competitive. Local Easton Stealth team lost to Pepsi 6-5 in the championship game - very good hockey, even though all the best players were in Chicago.
