Machine Black vs MM Force - Machine

Championship
Machine Black over Synergy 4-3

I don't think the Machine Black will lose twice in a row to the Synergy, but I expect to see those two teams in the final again. I think they (Machine) will get it done this time.

Any chance any kids from the top 3 lines of orange play with the black?
Are the orange in a different tourney next weekend? -suppose that would answer the question.

By definition, any tournament that my kid is not in, is meaningless.

The Brick for example...... completely meaningless.

From past experience I'm guessing you will be disappointed. They would bring in Machine Players to Play for Torspo or before that the Deuce so not sure why things would change now.

According to the website in the 2002 Invite the Force have been replaced by the Legacy in Pool A.

HD-Is this the first tourny for the Black????? I think it should be a field @ the 99's. I'm picking the Nats over the Gold in the "ship". [No I don't have a kid on that team]

No this isn't the first tourney for the 02 Black. They were the Hurricanes in S&S open and I believe they were the "Attack" for the Border Battle. Not sure why the different names though.

Where are the MSC North from??

There's NO WAY Synergy beats the 2002 Blades. If that game happens, Blades win by 5.

Didn't they play in the Meltdown? Is the synergy team made up of kids from Maple Grove?

Both played in the Meltdown. (not head to head)

Against like opponent, Wisconsin Flyers, here's how they did.

Round Robin
Blades- 6 WI Flyers- 3
WI Flyers 7 Synergy - 2

Semi's
WI Flyers 8 Synergy - 2

Championship
WI flyers beat Blades in a shootout (Blades were the better team..but had some penalty trouble the last five minutes of the game with two kids in the box, Flyers scored 2 to tie it.)

I shouldn't say the Blades would win by 5...but it would be an upset if they lost to Synergy.

Funny cool-aid an has MM teams in the semis and the blades getting beat by a new team on the scene. As you would put it HD why the hate for the Blades program?

I was wondering what the deal is!!! HD-What up w/all the "Blade" hate? I think the 02 Blades will beat MM's second team. The black team this weekend will be his 2nd team, right? Maybe? who knows? Could be a great marketing ploy, "our 2nd team beats the Blades".

Rather than call me names and mock my picks, why don't you post your own? The only reason I picked the Synergy over the Blades is that I heard they beat them in a scrimmage earlier in the year. No hate, nothing but respect for the Blades program. Unlike some I can support multiple organizations and teams. If they win it all, I'll be the first to offer congratulations.

Just to clarify...the Synergy and Blades played a 25 minute "scrimmage" and the Blades played their practice players. I know the Synergy folks were pretty pumped..but they saw the real difference between the two teams at the Meltdown. Again..would it be 1980 USA beating the Russians if Synergy beat the Blades in a real game? No. But it would be a decent upset.

HD-just joking around w/you, no hate for you from OG. I pick 99 Nats, 02 Blades for now. I need to do more research before picking further.

My bad. I was wrong. Didn't hear that part. Definitely would change how I pick the winner of this thing.

No worries...it's all a crap shoot in the end..kind of. The Blades kicked 7 kinds of dog stuff out of the flyers the first game of the Meltdown and then lost in the shootout for the championship. You never know what kind of game you are going get out of these kids from one day to the next. There's never any sure things!!!

What Skate to EX is playing? If it is the good team I pick them @ the 00.

I would think the Lake Supperior Stars would be a decent pick to win the '00 level.
