Replacing?

That is my question. If you read thee flyer it looks like they will be competing for the same kids. Since it is based out of MM I wonder if this is intended to replace the Machine and maybe look more like a HoneyBaked team or something.

The answer is no on the HoneyBaked question, but why don't you just call and ask if you are wondering about the new offering?

But then what would be the point of a forum such as this?

I can read the flyer, just thought folks might have heard more about it.

So the intent is to take the top 2 or so players from each AAA team and make a super team. Isn't that what every AAA team is trying to do? I find it hard to believe Bernie is going let the Machines top 2 or 3 players go from the orange so they won't be as competitive.

BM talks about AAA being watered down. At last count, how many AAA teams does he have at each age? Four? As was stated, does this mean there's five teams now? At least he's not forming a league to try out for it. Let's just go back to the old days when there were just a few teams -- and Bernie had two of them. I wonder if this isn't a return serve to his nemesis up north at the dairy store. BM is going to show -- well, you know, how it's done. Check. Your move, Roj.

Hi, E!

Oh...I'll have to read the flyer again as I didn't think it said team Walser was a replacement option for association hockey.

After reading the flyer again the only difference between any other AAA Mission statement is the desire to compete outside MN. Maybe the intent is extensive travel across US and Canada. Can't imagine what that will cost.....or maybe Walser will supplement the cost for the advertising.

Has anyone called down there to get the scoop?

Bernie has figured out that there is no way he would lose in court.

Walser will be the first Tier 1 team of it's kind in Minnesota. No need now for the Fire.

The change has begun.............. Please don't shoot the messenger.

How do you know it will be a Tier 1 team?

I read this and thought, "Machine got a sponsor." There isn't much information on the flyer I saw.

A car dealer's name doesn't make it any easier to form a Tier I program.

good for walser auto group to attach their name to such a good program as MINNESOTSA MADE. I believe they have a few talented skaters of their own. This should ensure them a top spot

Travel North America in the "Summer" to find competition? Isn't that what most teams are already doing in the Summer?

Maybe it's just a premature feeler, but..., it's for their future Tier 1 team.

Is USA Hockey going to go after him for allowing kids to have a choice? Is it going to have to become a court battle in the national scene? There is no way Bernie would lose.

Sorry but

OTC, The Machine and other SUMMER AAA teams already compete outside of Mn.

Winter would cause a need for this "desire".
