Every program has director with a grudge. Best thing for Hambly is to take his new team and beat the bears. Who fires all the coaches - no class!

Easy Buzznuts! Hambly coming back, "A" Squirt coach moved on (by his choice), and new "A" Peewee coach selected... Buzzer needs to do his homework before talking out of his A$$!

Hambly has done some amazing things in White Bear Lake with some of the kids he's had. Forest Lake would be blessed if he were interested. Flake has VFW support and plenty of ice!!

Glad Hammer's coming back. He's a great coach and the kids like playing for him.

buzzershot should do his homework before he starts rumors ! the new traveling director didnot fire all a coaches he just said that all coaches had to be reinterviewed because of feed back from parents. he's just doing what he should be and that is listening to all parents opinions on coaches and deciding on whats best for all kids development. sometimes change is needed and if there is alot of complaints about a coach something needs to change no matter how long he's been a coach. I'am glad he has the balls to get things changed. many associations just keep coaches because they are parents or friends with somebody on the board and in the long run the association suffers.

Hmmmm, one person is saying a situation is one way and another poster or two are saying it is a completely different way. Knowing the politics and craziness of parents ivnolved in Youth Hockey I'd put money the truth is probably somewhere in between........

And as we all know, when parents complain about coaches they are always being completely level headed and impartial, with just the right amount of perspective

well if you have alot of parents complaining about a certain coach it should be looked at! I never said all complaints are valid.

Define "alot", because sometimes the number of complainers is not as many as you think, they are just louder than the majority who are fine

Well I guess O'Shayyyynuts must be a Yahoo supporter!!! Word is now Yahoo got so much grief he may have reevaluated his decicison on Hammer but it's not confirmed as of yet. Too bad about the A peewee coach McFarlane he was also a great youth coach. He just ran into a bunch of nutty parents the last couple of years!!

I will ask again...exactly when was this Bantam coach fired? Did the board member ever call him and give him the Donald - "You're Fired!"? Or are you being a bit creative with how your explaining the situation?

Buzz, actually I'm not a supporter of either camp I'm just trying to protect the integrity of this site... So when people like yourself start posts that are 100% untrue you should be outed! Besides what kind of name is Buzzershot - isn't that a basketball term??? Poser...

Tuesday June 28th Fiddle(Yahoo) told Scott Hambly, Scott Shaffer and Sean Padden that their services as A Bantam coaches for next season would not be needed. About two weeks prior to that Kevin McFarlane and Mike Kaupp had been told the same for A Peewees all for unknown reasons......but everyone knows why(nutty parents and bubble kids). Since then past players have been organizing a meeting to support their old coaches who they have alway respected and loved playing for (July 31st...I think...on facebook). Some back peddaling has happened since the firing of coaches but it is still unclear as to what that has involved. That is all I know. My son played for all these coaches in the WBL Association and was very successfull in WBL High School Hockey because of them. Now if their was any dout you know where I stand.

If you don't like your association why don't you just choose to.............. nevermind, you're screwed!

Buzz,
Did you just use "very successful" and "WBL Hockey" in the same sentence?

How do you know this? So let me get this straight, the coach actually gets fired but O'Shay says now the coach is back? Usually if somebody gets fired, they move on to other things, feeling bitter and disenfrachised and maybe even disgusted with the whole situation. Something tells me we don't have all the facts here. But I've always said, don't let the facts get in the way of a good rumor.

Yes, my son had a very sucessful High School career as a player as where the teams for the 3 years he played on. Now you are just jealous and I am still not a Sager fan even though he has come out to support the association coaches. Even he knows he is screwed without them.

Parents - hard to do, but relax, its not like there are many choices to choose from. Its alot of time and a big commentment to coach some of these teams. appreciate it... Thanks - thats my 2-cents...
