AA Tournament Waiting List

If anyone was curious, I thought I would share my experience. I mailed in my application for tickets on 3/9/10 and was number 561 on the list at that point. I checked in on 3/4/11 and was number 347 on the list. I thought it would be another year, but I was sent my order form for the 2012 tournament yesterday.
So...not too bad of a wait. Hooray for hockey.

I applied not long after you, and I got my order two days ago. I'm just wondering how many years a guy would be stuck with upper level tickets.
Ten years? Twenty?
Also, I think it's a scam that you can pass your tickets on to another family member. If your kid wants season tickets, he can get in line with everyone else. That's just my understanding of it, correct me if I'm wrong. (It never takes long on this site.)

Yeah, I'm sure it would take a very long time to get to the lower level. I've heard that complaint before. I like being up high in the middle. If I can get toward the front row of 204, eventually, I would be pretty happy.

It's only a scam to you now because your not it that position, but when you are you wont think that way. I think it is perfectly fair myself.

If you want tickets closer to the ice, all you have to do is ask. Its really that simple. I had tickets two rows from the top. I asked for seats closer to the ice and I'm now in row 13.

I believe it is every two years they allow you to rank your choices of where you would like to sit, no guarantees.
Example
1 Lower level
2 Club level
3 Upper level
4 Lower level obstruced view

I have had my tickets for about 6 years. The first year my tickets were 2 rows of the ice buried in a corner. The next year I was asked about an upgrade and got tickets right behind the net on the Club Level. In my opinion the Club Level is the best place to watch games from. This year I have asked for the possibility of getting an upgrade to Bar Rail seats in the Club Level which I think are the best seats in the house. Will have to wait and see what happens.
