I don't get it. Simply a change of name? Will this team have "home ice" at Mn Made? Is Force one of the teams that was "disbanded" to form Walser?

It would be cool if AAA announcements would more regularly say where the teams are based for most practices, since besides price and hours, that's primary consideration. (Not much point in a South metro player looking at programs in, say, Andover or St. Cloud nor a Blaine player looking at Chaska or Victoria. Or maybe I'm the only one whose idea of hell is sitting in summer rush hour traffic on I-35 with a stinky bag of hockey equipment and a bored-to-death PeeWee).

We skate out of Minnesota Made. The MN Pride team is a name change for the 01 Force. The other Force teams were disbanded.

Why in the world would they (Made/Bernie) disband the teams? I'm sorry that your kids had the rug pulled from underneath them...

Good luck!

The decision was made a while back as they are forming new Force teams for next year. These teams will have a lighter schedule, no dryland and fewer tournaments.

MM is in support of the team and suggested the name change. We will continue to operate under Minnesota Made and look to build on our past success.

Since it sounds like you are still under the MM umbrella, will you have to wear really really inexpensive jerseys? :D

Sure doesn't sound like any rug was pulled out from under you like the VI suggested.
