I understand that these are only scrimmages but the results are surprising. I didn't expect Greenway or the Falls to win their scrimmage.
I don't know if they are better than I expected or Eveleth and Hibbing are worse than I expected. Also Rapids 2-0 win over Virginia is closer than I thought it would be. Does anyone who saw the scrimmages have any insight?

I figured the Falls would score some goals with DeBenedet and crew but was not sure about the goalie and defense.
Just a scrimmage but nice start for the Broncos.
The Greenway score does not surprise me.

Anyone bring home a roster, if they were available?

The rosters were just printed off the MSHSL website. They weren't very accurate.

Who was in goal for Rapids? Shepard?

I think it was him, but the number the goalie was wearing did not match anything on the roster. I think that is the name I heard over the P.A.

The results are pretty much accurate as to what took place on the ice. Int`l Falls looked great and they made Hibbing look average. They are going to be a force if they carry that play through the season. Eveleth is way down - they lost 18 (I think) seniors from last year and it shows. Virginia doesn't look to be as far down as some people think. Grand Rapids looks like an NBA team with their size. They were a little sloppy, but definitely not terrible against Virginia - as can be expected this time of year.
