Three non- conference games on the SEC schedule today.

East Ridge vs. Grafton/Park River, ND at Detroit Lakes Tournament 5:00PM
Roseville at Superior, WI 7:30PM
Woodbury vs. Coon Rapids at Woodbury Tournament 7:45

2012 Predicted Finish
1 Forest Lake- Could sport the top line in the conference. Goaltending?
2 White Bear Lake- Top goalie keeps them near the top.
3 Roseville- Lots of varsity experience returns, graduation hurts in the nets though.
4 Stillwater- Strong goalie, lost top D-men, need to find scoring up front.
5 East Ridge- Underclassmen should help Raptors rise in the standings.
6 Hastings- 2/3’s of the top line returns, probably underrating this team a bit
7 Mounds View- See East Ridge, new coach could be a factor.
8 Woodbury- Last year’s youth is more experienced, goaltending should be a strength.
9 Cretin-Derham Hall- Have to find a way to replace last year’s top line, tough task.
10 Park-Cottage Grove- Don’t see much chance of finishing higher.

Forest Lake beat Hill-Murray and tied #1 St.Thomas 2-2. They look good.

I was at the St Thomas scrimmage and they did play well. They also beat Hill Murray but from my understanding Hill was missing players from the football team...

I'd take Schletty over anyone else in the SEC...but that's just me.

Nice debut for Wahlin. Carney has been solid, hopefully he can contribute more on offense this year but I'll be fine with solid D. Big game for Morrisette and he's really gonna have to step up this season.

Not a chance. Cates IS the best goalie in the SEC

Watch out for Stillwater and Forest Lake topping White Bear this year. Stillwater lost two great defensemen but still have a strong defensive core and a goalie that can steal a game for the Ponies. Forest Lakes top line is pretty impressive and can throw up a lot of points.

Did anyone else notice how all of the scorers are on White Bear's first line? Hopefully the other lines will put up some points next game against Cretin! Did anyone see if the second and third lines looked bad or they just couldn't finish?
