Thanks again YHH!
Looks like Edina A lost their FPP in the Centennial game. Would be too bad if that neds up hurting them in the standings.

Some scores from this morning at Braemar:
PWA:
Elk River > Eden Prairie (6-3)
Michigan vs. Centennial (3-3)
Stillwater > Waconia (3-1)
Lakeville South vs. OMG (6-6, what a game!!!!!!!!)
OMG can advance by beating Stillwater by 5 (max diff)...not likely (30%)
LVS can advance if they beat Waconia by 5 (max diff) and get some help from Stillwater...more likely (70%). Goal diff is the first tie breaker (rt now OMG leads LVS by one) and total goals allowed is the second (rt now LVS leads by 2).
My bet is LVS advances by beating Waconia by the max (e.g. 6-0) and OMG beats Stillwater (5-1 or 5-2) and misses by a hair.
PWB:
Eagan > Wayzata (3-2)
Des Moines > Edina Green (5-2)
New Richmond > OMG (6-0)
Edina White > Centennial (4-2)
Stillwater > Minnetonka (4-3)
Elk River vs. Waconia (5-5)

If they both win they both get in. One as pool winner and the other as the wildcard.

Yes...you're right. No matter what they control their own destiny with a win.
Assuming ER, LVS,and OMG win as described, here is how it shakes out based on the Michigan/Edina scenario:
If Edina wins:
1. Edina 2. Elk River 3. LVS 4. OMG
If Michigan wins:
1. Elk River 2. LVS 3. Michigan 4. OMG
Leaning 60/40 toward Edina scenario...4 very talented teams.

By no means is the Stillwater OMG outcome decided both of these teams are very good.

Edge:
Let's make a fun (virtual) wager.
Stillwater wins...I stop posting on here for a week.
OMG wins...you become a ranker on our site (ur exactly who we want ranking the teams in the popular portion of our site's formula)?
http://youthhockeyhub.com/youth-hockeyr ... t-ranking/
Our formula likes Stillwater, they've been ranked in our YHH Top 10 all year. I just think OMG is playing better.
Best and meant respectfully,
Tony Scott

Top teams in this tournament were definitely the Edina White, New Richmond, and Edina Green. Stillwater was just plain lucky this time.

This may be a slight reach but three of the top PWA teams in the state may have been in one pool in Edina (LVS, OMG, SW). SW tied OMG twice this week and played LVS extremely tough. Shots were 24-20 but LVS capitalized. It was a much closer game than the 4-0 score would suggest. PL and LVS are still a notch above the rest in my opinion. ER, EP, OMG, Edina, SW and a couple others are a just a notch down at this point in the season. By the way - how do these kids grow to 6ft at 13 years old? Not only are they big and strong, they have skills.

ER Elks over Lakeville South in Championship 10 to 9 in one crazy hockey game. 6 to 6 after regulation & double OT. Game finally ends in 10 player shootout.
Both teams showed allot of heart with both having to come back down 2 goals multiple times in the game. This game could have went either way.
Lakeville South was fun to watch they have a great great team.
Congrats to the Elks!
