Doug Hagen of followthepuck.com keeps these types of statistics on his website. Check out this page: http://minnesota-high-school-hockey.blo ... y-all.html

single-season individual point leaders. I was wondering if the Cisar's (Tyler or Josh) have a chance to break the record this year.

Not sure on numbers but Ben Hanowski had a big year not too long ago, broke goal record and career point record, pretty sure a single season point record might be on that resume as well in 08-09' if I'm thinking right

Otherwise I'm thinking Johnny Pohl from 97' and 98' or Scot Lecy in 77' both had some real big seasons, at least 100 points

Here's what the "bible" has for state scoring records:

Points
135 -- Ben Hanowski, Little Falls (2009)
131 -- Aaron Broten, Roseau (1979)
125 -- Jared Festler, Little Falls (2008)

Goals
73 -- Ben Hanowski, Little Falls (2009)
71 -- Jared Festler, Little Falls (2007)
65 -- Joey Benik, St. Francis (2009)

Assists
88 -- Aaron Broten, Roseau (1979)
78 -- Johnny Pohl, Red Wing (1998)
77 -- Neal Broten, Roseau (1978)

Tyler is a junior and Josh is a senior, correct?

Incredibly, at 4.33 pts/game for Tyler, he doesn't really have a shot. Hanowski averaged 4.35 pts/game including sections and the state tournament. Moose Lake won't make it through sections. Benik's regular season goals record of 63 could be at risk though.
