It might be a bit skeptical on da range during the season, but...... everyone has to play in Duluth to get to the state tourney for what I think is about 20 years in a row now.Duluth 4 wrote:I'm going to go with the hounds but the officiating is always skeptical up the range so that could be an equalizer.

This Rapids team is decent but not as good as I thought they would be. Rapids only hope to win the section is to get whipped in this weeks game and build overconfidence in the East boys for the section tournament. I doubt very much of GR can pull the upset.
How do you know that's not the plan??? This is just a scrimmage to get ready for the big game coming up on another Thursday evening...about 7 weeks from now!meg60 wrote:Gotta go with the boys from Duluth and wherever else their from. I think she is referring to the 2 goalie transfers. All legal of course.east hockey wrote:Cute.meg60 wrote:Gotta go with the boys from Duluth and wherever else their from. Is that a joking comment Elliot? You have not seen being homered until you play on the range. I understand though, its hard to have an unbiased opinion when you have three family members officiating the gameelliott70 wrote:Duluth 4 wrote:I'm going to go with the hounds but the officiating is always skeptical up the range so that could be an equalizer.

Really???
I have some funny stories about refs celebrating Rapids goals when playing up there in youth leaguesDuluth 4 wrote:Is that a joking comment Elliot? Really???
Where did East get those unbiased Refs for Bantam Region a couple years ago? They would be great crew to have officiate this game.StreetStix wrote:I have some funny stories about refs celebrating Rapids goals when playing up there in youth leaguesDuluth 4 wrote:Is that a joking comment Elliot? Really???Hard to control the excitement of seeing your grandchild score I guess...but hey, everyone faces homer refs at some point. The best team will usually still win. Not worried about the refs in this game, it should be a good one. Rapids usually steps it up against East and I've seen their playstyle disrupt East's flow too many times. Yea seriously, someone needs to record this and webcast it.
Lundgren spent some time in the Laker program. Not sure who else.northwoods oldtimer wrote:I did not know about those players. Who are they?pekyman wrote:Or the 2, 3 or ?? from the Laker program. I'm failing to get the tone of this comment since I'm not sure which game you're referencingnorthwoods oldtimer wrote: Where did East get those unbiased Refs for Bantam Region a couple years ago? They would be great crew to have officiate this game.
