Should be a good game. Predictions? I will go with GR 4-3, if they have Stejskal and Holumn back.

Yep, thinking they need everyone tonight - and from here on out.

Hermantown much smoother, quicker than Rapids in the 2nd.

3-1 hermantown end of 2nd

Shots 19-13 hermantown

Grand rapids is getting out played, mainly due to fact that they are thoroughly being out-coached.

If the final is 3-1, I would be ok with that :D

Hard to find many positives in Rapids' play tonight. Special teams in particular were a struggle. I hope they're better than they showed tonight. Very impressed by the Hermantown defensemen.

Solid effort by the Hawks. Really outplayed Rapids in a fairly easy win.

Story of the night was the shutting down of rapid's forwards by the hawks D and the onslaught of the rapids D by the Hawk fore check. Special teams for rapids could have made the difference but fell short.

You are correct.

I am interested in your opinion on what aspect they were out coached?
Are you referring to them not making adjustments or not matching lines etc?

3rd time I've seen Hermantown play this yr and 2nd time I've seen GR. my mind told me Hermantown would handle this, but I went with GR. should have stuck with my initial thought. Hermantowns d-men just shut down Rapids forwards. Very impressive. I hope GR is better than this, otherwise 7AA is a cakewalk for East barring any major upset.

I would not be too harsh on GR. The Hermantown D have the ability to shut down pretty much any team in the state. I don't think they were outcoached either. Herm is a strong deep team that is going to be tough for anyone to beat.

Remember that this is the same group of 4 on Defense and 15 returners that went to Eden Prairie last year back in early Feb. and it took a kid named Kyle Rau to make a last second rush to score with a tic left on the clock in OT.

Last years Grand Rapids game at Hermantown was a 5-1 Hermantown win, Rapids was much better then the score, but the game has alot of bounces and "puck luck" while capitalizing on the opportunities you have.

Aside from the first half of the period 1 last night when Hermantown's D seemed to be caught a little flat-footed or had some travel legs (I didn't notice it later on). I would say they have shown to be very solid and the team has shown how good they have become in the "special teams" department. That being said, being short-handed more often then not is not a place any team should want to get used to. Reference football and turnovers - if you lose the turnover game, it is very likely you're not going to win the football game.
