Couple big games with Moorhead beating Bemidji 2-1 in OT and Brainerd trouncing Roseau. For seedings...what does it all mean?

The Spuds are #1 of course.

Rams will get #4, so should be Spuds/Rams in 1 semifinal.

Where are the 8AA semis and final being played?
I like the Spuds to beat Bemidji in the final.

Semi-finals are at the high seed. Finals probably at Thief River Falls.

Really? I thought semis were always at neutral sites. Interesting.

They should have the semi-finals at the Sanford Center in Bemidji IMO.

I agree.
Not a big advantage for Bemidji other than the bus ride as they never practice there and play very few games there.
Of course, the drive for me is quite a bit shorter.

If they play again, Bemidji wins.
My guess, Bemidji - Roseau in the finals.
Truth be told

What I want is a team from 8AA, 7AA,
To take down the metro teams. That is what it comes
Down to come tourney time. I grew up in Duluth and that is
What we did. Root for all the teams nonmetro.
Last year we came close to having Duluth east win double A. If it
Wasn't for Rau my wish would have come true.
Hermantown was up three nothing in Single A before saint Thomas
Machine kick started it. Duluth east and hermantown
Almost did it. Hope this is the area.

This very well could be the year for East. Don't think I've ever seen them (or a lot of others) look better.

If that final happens, we'll get a preview of it tomorrow night in Brainerd.

Moorhead 4 to 1 back in January.
Any reason to think that it will be any closer this time?

UM, yes the shots were like 39 to 22 in favor of Brainerd in that game. Moorhead probly wins the section but its because of Bitzer.

Yup
That January game was a lot closer than the score indicates
Archies got 'em firing on all cylinders right now and they're flying under the radar, a very dangerous team that shouldn't be underestimated

I would love to see a Brainerd vs. Grand Rapids game at the Xcel.

Yup, was closer alright. Guess they didn't have enough altitude & flew into something solid.
