? about Denfeld. I've seem them play in 3 tourney's this year. They haven't placed higher then 4th in them. Stillwater Red has beat them twice by 2 or 3 goals each time. Now I haven't seen then play after the Edina tourney. Have they played any of the top teams and won. I don't think they are a bad team. Just not that great. Or have they really picked it up in the last month or so?

In District 10 I would give the nod to centennial over Andover in the Championship game for the #1 seed. Andover is down to 9 skaters right now. They are injry stricken. If Elk River comes to play like they did the first 2 games in play offs they may lose to champlin park on Saturday. It all comes down to who wants to win the elimination games in district 10 anything is possbile.

North Region
D12#1 - Int Falls
D11#2 - DEast
East advances

D10#1 - Andover
D11#3 - Cloquet
Andover advances

DE beats Andover

D11 #1 - Denfeld
D12 #3 - Hibbing
Denfeld advances

D10 #2 - Elk River
D12#2 - Grand Rapids
ER advances

Denfeld top end too much and takes out ER

DE depth too much for Denfeld and wins Region but Denfeld still adv to State.

West Region
D15 #1 - Alexandria
D5 #2 - St. Cloud
SC advances

D16#1 - EGF
D5 #3 - MAML
EGF advances

EGF beats SC

D5#1 - STMA
D15 #3 - Nth Lakes
STMA wins

D16 #2 Roseau
D15 #2 Moorhead
Moorhead wins

STMA beats Moorhead

EGF cruises into State and STMA and SC battle it out for the other spot. SC gets revenge from a predicted loss in District tourney and advances to State.

East Region

D3 #2 - OMG Crimson
Crimson beats tough WB team

D2 #1 - Stillwater Red
D3 #3 - Way Gold
Way Gold advances

Crimson advances past Way Gold

D3 #1 - Way Blue
D8 #3 - Rosemount
Way Blue wins

D2 #2 - Maht.
D8 #2 - Lake. Nth.

STATE TOURNEY
Duluth East
Denfeld
East Grand Forks
Saint Cloud
Wayzata Blue
OMG Crimson
Edina Green
Edina White

There are some top end talent playing in the BB1 regions. The Woodbury group has a bunch of top end kids but do not know how many are first or 2nd years. Based upon their size I would say most of them are 2nd years.

District 6 and 3 are loaded with really good players. This includes players from teams that did not qualify for Regions.

Denfelds top line is as good as any in state. Physical but can really play.
For district 3 OMGHA Black has a very good chance. Wayzata Blue and OMGHA Crimson are locks.

But OMGHA Black and Wayzata gold are very evenly matched. They have played eachother 3 times both winning one game and then tying the other game. so should be a very good solid game tonight between those two teams.

Loved your post...thanks. I agreed 100% until the EG>Bville prediction, but we think alike, that's for sure.

For the record, Duluth East should have beaten Elk River. Other than that one I got 7 out of the 8. Yeah for me!
