Jake Randolph vs Justin Kloos @ State - Mr. Hockey?

Should be an interesting matchup for the 6 PM game. From what I hear it sounds like these two are the front runners for Mr. Hockey, with Kloos a slight favorite. If Jake goes out and has a monster game while Kloos is totally shutdown, is that enough to give Randolph an edge? Vice versa for Kloos? Or is it already voted on. Or does Kloos just win outright either way.

I'm not sure, but I think the Mr. Hockey voting occurs before the state tournament. If that assumption is correct, it doesn't matter what happens in the LS vs. DE game as far as Mr. Hockey goes. Regardless, it will be fun to watch them go head to head in the first round.

There is no doubt in my mind Kloos wins. I don't think it matters if DE wins the tourney or how well Randolph does. I think Kloos had it locked in.

This might be the dumbest topic posted EVER! Could it really come down to how they play head to head? East played most of the year without 2 of their top players and still dam near ran the table. Somehow Kloos is suppose to play Randolph even up or out score him. Lets say that East wins 6-2 and Randolph puts up 4 points and Kloos 1. Do you think just maybe the depth of East might have just a little bit to do with that? I saw these two play head to head enough this fall to make my own conclusion, but the results of this game should mean ZERO in the decision on which if EITHER wins the MR. Hockey award. Last time I checked there were 8 other names on the list and to just assume its between these two is equally as ridiculous.

Last time I checked there were 6 players a side battling every shift. This one is easy East has the better TEAM. Gopher Kloos is good however one guy WILL NOT beat EAST.
This is not girls hockey or single A for that matter where a single star can take over a game.

Northwoods - "NOBODY ON THIS POST WAS COMPARING LS TO DE. THE SUBJECT OF THE POST WAS FOR AN INDIVIDUAL AWARD - MR. HOCKEY!!!!!!!!!! While your opinion of each of their teams may or may not be valid, what does it have to do with the topic of this post? As a favor to all readers here, get a clue or get out.

Soooo can I take your smartass answer as a "No it will not affect who wins the award"?

Voting occurs before state tourney starts so this game won't play any role in who wins the award

Yes, if Randolph has 5+ points and
East shuts Kloos down.
Incorrect neuuman the poll factors in TEAM play so all comments are welcome. Kloos wins it no matter what he is the Gopher guy.
