Of the 4 teams that lost today MG def looked the worst. Very unimpressed with their effort today. I think Eagan and East for consolation.

Attitude can make a huge difference in the consolation bracket. It will be a lot harder for a favorite like DE to pick themselves up than it would have been for Lakeville South.

1977....
Roseau 23-0
Mounds View 23-1
Hill-Murray 22-2
Southwest 19-7
That's 10 losses combined, this 2012 group had 11 combined losses.

This years stats are more impressive if you went by win percentage. They played less games in '77

Not!
We can wish though. Look for those Mariucci scalpers to try and make some money for once!!

Anyone who underestimated Morehead or Hill with their state tournament tested head coaches are fools. You knew those teams were coming to the X to play.

Actually I thought the day was kind of boring.....I knew the Edina BSM game would be good.
My bracket, like most peoples was shot down.
And anyone who says they picked this one is lying...
Also looks like an all catholic final for tomorrow night.

Just like 10 years ago when AHA beat Hill. That year a class A private won the tourney as well... I think.
