St. Thomas Academy (25-5) will take on Hermantown (30-0) in a rematch of last year's Class A final won by St. Thomas Academy. It's public vs private and its Hermantown trying to go 31-0 for the perfect season.

THIS is the matchup I was hoping to see for the A title. I hope its a great game, would love to see Hermantown win it, complete a perfect season, and keep a little hardware up north.

I got that feeling too. Lets ask someone with more info than me: was this score indicative of a gameplan by TRF to play D first, O second? Dump and run? I doubt STA will play conservatively; they'll want to get up and go, which should open things up for Hermantown?

Really hope hermantown wins but after seeing last 3 days I feel like STA looks better.

Hermantown has had a tendency to play down to their competition all year. No disrespect to TRF but Hermantown was heavily favored in this game. Give credit to TRF for their hard work today but Hermantown will have to be a lot sharper to pull of the win tomorrow.

I have to agree HawkeyePower I believe Htown will have be much sharper than they were today to compete with STA.
Congrats to TRF on a fine season and back to back trips to State with 1st round wins the last two years. =D> =D> =D>

If you could give updates that would be great. I'm on a plane and am having problems with my iPad. Thanks

I'm not sure who I want to win this one. I want Hermantown because I would love to see an undefeated season by a small northern school. I'm not actually rooting for STA, but if they win I won't be upset because that should almost force them to move up to AA in my mind.

The internet is really good but my audio is shaky. Stupid iPads don't have flash so I can't stream it.

I think they have a chance of coming back though. It looks like the Hawks were starting to take a little territorial advantage towards the end of the 1st.

Hawks mascot gets into STA student section and promptly gets decapitated. Who needs beach balls when you got hawk heads?

What was that thing the STA fans were throwing around to each other?

The funny thing is... STA can easily stay for the 6:00 game and win that one as well. Move up.
