I remember that 02 Flyers team being pretty good last year. The 03's should be fun. Can't wait to see who comes out on top in that one.

Just to clarify, Team Walser replaced Machine Black right?

Guessing Machine Orange and some of the other Blades squads will be in Chicago for the Shuffle this same weekend?

I think Team Walser is supposedly a separate roster from the Machine teams (Black and Orange). I'm sure there will be some overlap, but I'm only going off of parent talk during the Choice league that this would be the "C team".

I guess Legacy 03's from last summer split up and several went to the Blades. I've heard it is mostly East metro kids now and not the same but still talented.

Madison's 8/9-year-old teams are typically strong. 03 should be a good tourney.

Maybe not a Tier 1 team after all? :D

EDIT:
Not to pile on, but looking at all of last night's scores, Team Walser went 0-5 at the 99-03 levels of the Meltdown.

Miracle Gold 8 Thunder Bay 7 at '03 level. Big tilt with the Blades in the AM. Legacy looks to be strong also. Three tough tests for MG team.

Are many of the walser players out of town or something? I had thought this was a elite level team, possibly tier 1.

All of the Walser teams are 3rd teams behind Orange and Black at MM and have only been together for 3 weeks.

Yep, you were right... I'll get you the six pack of wine coolers you requested.

Double or nothing for the morning rematch?

Sorry if you were offended by the "out of hand" comment. Nothing meant by it. It's a long summer season and this is only the first tournament. It wouldn't suprise me a bit to hear that MG handily beat the blades in the rematch.

My comment was all in good fun, it's hard to read a tone in writing. I probably should of used a smiley wink.

Not offended.

MG beat the Blades 7-6 in this mornings rematch. The game ended with 2 MG players in penalty box. MG defended the net 3 on 6 to hold the score. A great game played by ALL the kids!
