Would probably switch the Blades to 3 or 4 in this group. Lots of hugs going on with many of the parents after the last tournament with the parents knowing that it was the end of the road.

Machine Orange added one new defensemen for next year that played for STE(Irondale) this Summer. Great kid that plays with a chip on his shoulder.

Euro American runs a solid and deep team.

M Edge has a really nice team with very good goaltending and possibly have the best 2000 born skater.

Agree, I'd go like this for the 2000's:

1) Machine
2) EuroAmerican
3) Edge

The four teams i listed weren't meant to be in any sort of order, that's just the way they came out. Any thoughts on a fifth team at the 2000 level?

Why is it end of the road for 00 Blades? They seem to have represented well, even in outstate tourneys. This 00 group seems thick with high end talent.

I'll start the '02 conversation:

1) Blades
2) Machine
3) EuroAmerican
4) Miracle Gold
5) Legacy

Here's a crack at the 2001s:

1 Machine
2 Blades (narrowly -- could be tied at 1 -- they more or less split at Caribou, though Blades played as Pitlick selects. Same records in Winnipeg)
3 Miracle Gold
4 Legacy
5 Everyone else, distant 5th -- Euro, Velocity, Nats, etc.

Not the end of the road for the team. They had a very tough time in their last local ("fake invite" ) tournament and heard there will be change.

The talent seems to be on these four teams and they're pretty well matched.

1a. Blades
1b. Machine
1c. Gold
---- Depending on who comes, who leaves, and goaltending.

Way too close to call. Next year will be pretty interesting for this group.

We are doing a video recapping this very topic covering the top 5 teams in each division. Another test video showing you guys how we are going to announce our rankings each week.

If any of you have a picture from your team...we'd love to feature it in the video...send it on and we'll splice it in. I have a few ages covered, but more the merrier.

Thanks.

2013
1. Blades- tough to beat at this level!
2. Legacy- Some great additions and haven't lost anyone.
3. Machine- lost top two players and best goalie
4. MG- lost 2 of their top players

Lots of changes are happening at this level.

Team Combat has a good team. I don't believe their roster is set. Time will tell how good this team will be. They finished 1-3 in the Easton cup a few weeks back. But they were also trying out different kids to be on the team. With a little tweaking it appears this could be a very good team and program.

How about the '03 Northern Wings?

Nobody rates the Northern Wings program...are they overrated? or just an open team?
