Anyone out there with any knowledge on the rumor that Don Lucia will be stepping down as Gophers head coach to become the commissioner of the Big 10 Hockey Conference? Mike Guentzel would be the new head coach at Minnesota.

Heard that when the B10 formed a hockey league. We can only hope!

I can't say I know with any certainty but the reality is there is only one commissioner for all Big Ten sports (Jim Delany).
They do have associate commissioners but it looks like that's only for the two big money making sports of football and basketball.
