Thanks for the broadcast--an entertaining game.

Perry was sharp for Andover, especially in the first period, when the defense had a few lapses. But after that, the Huskies played very sound D and blocked a lot of shots. As expected, they're not a prolific team, but the Rak-Tomberlin combination had some good moments; if the talented but very raw Sitarz comes along as the season continues, that could be a very good line.

Meanwhile, the struggles continue for EP. They had a deep lineup going this afternoon, but only the top line generated much in the way of serious chances, and they weren't exactly in sync all the time, either. The puck movement often left something to be desired. There tons of talent here, but lots of work needs to be done.

White Bear beat CDH 5-4 in overtime. Neither team looked very good in my opinion. White Bear's defense looked just awful like usual. They don't know how to cover anyone in front of their net and they turn the puck over way to much. No one on CDH stood out to me as their best player. They just capitalized on WB's mistakes.

Willmar beat Marshall 3-2 in OT. The best player on the ice was Hunter Schneider, the Willmar senior center, who scored two goals (including OT winner) and assisted on the third.
