Wow. Eagles seem to being going down hill a little bit. Any summary of the game?

Not sure if they are going downhill. Staying consistent really ...
- 12/04/2012 lost 5-2 to Burnsville (SSC)
12/13/2012 lost 4-3 to Lakeville North (SSC)
12/28/2012 Lost 3-2 to Jefferson (SSC)
add in other results and they look pretty consistent
- 12/15/2012 lost 2-1 to Andover
12/27/2012 lost 4-2 to Moorhead
I think the only game they looked really impressive in was the 4-3 loss to Edina, however, recent results are exposing the Hornets as a little over-rated, so it's all making perfect sense.

Eden Prairie dominated most of the game. Shots were something like 41-25 for EP. Jefferson goalie played very well, and on top of that EP had several really good scoring chances and missed. On the other end a couple of lucky bounces ended up in Jefferson goals. I think the 3rd went in off an EP player.
In addition EP had several key players that didn't play today, including Spinner, John Sullivan and Pajor.
EP has played much better over the past 5 games, and If they can stay healthy, I believe they will be a dangerous team after the new year. They will figure it out and have too much talent not to be a contender come the end of the year.

....yawn...what other team continues to post excuses game after game?

Not an excuse. They outplayed the other team and lost. The fact that 3 key players were missing is a fact, but even without them they outplayed Jefferson. Just couldn't finish.
I still think this team will be a factor after the new year. I guess time will tell.

Im so interested in hearing how the hornets are overrated after losing to two good teams. a very good sta team, and a Duluth east team that seems to be getting stuff clicking with another win over tonka.

Things are really turning around for the Eagles now. Did you see the team celebrating after winning the 7th place game in the SLP tourney!

Maybe the "move in's" over the past years aren't working out. Shoulda stuck with local talent in EP!

Just hang around the glass on the end boards of just about any game anywhere in the State. You'll hear all about it
