Not sure what the record is, but I see that Derek Frentz at Mankato West had 4 goals in 1:14 during the 3rd period vs Delano on Dec 28th. That's pretty good!
And it looks like Delano scored a goal within in that 1:14 too....to make a total of 5 goals scored in a little over a minute. Alot of scoring going on!

I do know of a game back in the 1976-77 season between White Bear Mariner and White Bear Lake when three goals were scored in a 38 second span.
Junior Kevin Delaney and senior John Doran scored six seconds apart for Mariner and only 32 seconds later, Delaney scored again for a 3-1 lead.
Just one minute later, senior Brian Delaney gave the Dolphins a 4-1 advantage.
Mariner went on to win 5-2 over the Bears.

This created a lot of buzz at the time - 3 goals by one player in just 27 seconds...against Duluth East no less.

Thanks for the thread, SuperStar. We Mankato West fans appreciate it but skaters are only part of the hockey story - could maybe there be a goalie oriented thread about "how many is the most HS shutouts in a row by a MN goalie?"

No probs. When you hear something like that - its news worthy.... Probably the fastest 4 goals scored in MN High school history- we could call it a "Four Trick"....better yet, a Pure Four Trick!
Yeah, we could do alot of different categories, but I am afraid I am not the stats historian that could put those together...

Check out the Rochester/Eastview game box from Kiwannis Tournament - 1 player w/ natural hatrick all shorthanded.

That's pretty cool too. You don't see a lot of "pure" Hat tricks scored followed by a "pure" playmaker. Abbott from McNamara on all 3.
