I'll treat everyone on this forum to a coke at the state tourney if the Bears win.

Saw this game last year and liked the game plan Sager implemented. Expect the same this year:

How are the Question Marks this year? Think they have a shot?

It will be 4-0 after the first period and end up 9-0 final. Wahlin is going to get shut down early and Delaney will probably get at least 3 penalties in the game. Edina is going to blow past WB's slow defenseman all game long. Also WBL's girls high school hockey team has a game at the same time at the Vadnais Sports Center-Bremer rink so the parking lot is going to be packed! Get there early if you want to park close.

6-1 Edina
After two consecutive varsity shutouts for Gorman, it appears he is slated to start.... for JV.

I don't think anyone expected a 2-1 game....Edina looked very lethargic

White Bear Lake played hard tonight. They couldn't really generate much offense, and had a really rough 2nd period, but overall they played hard and I was impressed with Max Green. It's something to build on down the road, as they try and figure out how to win a tough game against a better opponent.

I wasn't overly impressed with Edina tonight. I know they have some players out, but they didn't seem very into the game. They seem to be in a bit of a offensive drought right now, but I fully expect them to be playing their best hockey come sections.

Best defense game WBL has played all year. Edina did have alot of shots on goal, but most of them were from the perimeter. But not much offense.

Did White Bear even get a shot on net in the last two minutes when they were on the powerplay? ](*,)

I don't think so, but they had chances, they just passed the puck around, without shooting.

In the Bears' defense, the 4 Hornets out there until the buzzer looked especially active in denying any look at the net that didn't run a decent risk of getting blocked. Of course, quicker passing can counter that. But the PK foursome deserves a nod.

I agree with the above. The only real angles the hornets were allowing were really shallow angles. I wasnt a fan, however, of how it seemed none of the white bear players were willing to drive the net at any point and stayed outside the circles the whole time.
