Tom Novak with the game winner again tonight against SSM, which begs the question, what can't this kid do? Should be fun to watch him develop even more these next couple years!

I'd say it's tough to say that. He had a very nice game, just didn't look like many others given the level of competition he was playing against, which was true of the whole team the whole night.koolio wrote:He found a way to get er done - again - in spite of not having his strongest outing of the season. Very nice player.
Which two didn't play and why were they missing?HShockeywatcher wrote:He was without his two best teammates tonight and had plenty of good moments, simply wasn't able to score until the end.
Versich has been out the last three games with some injury.MNHockeyFan wrote:Which two didn't play and why were they missing?HShockeywatcher wrote:He was without his two best teammates tonight and had plenty of good moments, simply wasn't able to score until the end.
Dougherty was out sick. BTW STA rolled 4 lines in regulation- I think singling out 1 player as one of his best teammates is slighting the whole team.HShockeywatcher wrote:Versich has been out the last three games with some injury.MNHockeyFan wrote:Which two didn't play and why were they missing?HShockeywatcher wrote:He was without his two best teammates tonight and had plenty of good moments, simply wasn't able to score until the end.
I didn't see Dougherty on the ice all night, maybe I'm just blind, not sure.
A couple players stepped up and played a great game though.
My comment wasn't to slight anyone on the team; it was in response to someone saying Novak didn't have a good night...sicksauce23 wrote:Dougherty was out sick.
