This is a big game between rivals to open up lake conference play. Last years game at Braemar between these two was one of the best i saw all year with tonka winning in OT.

Yeah, it's weird that both teams are kinda desperate for a big win to get back on track. Should be no lack of effort in this one!

Anyone know whether Malmquist, Jordahl, Benjamin, and Fidler will be back in the line up?

Another tight game at Braemar and another win for Minnetonka.
Tonka's defense saved them in this game. They also did something that they have failed to do many times throughout the season--dominate the beginning of each period. Edina was trying to play catch up all game after an early 2-0 deficit.
I'm interested to see how Tonka stacks up against Wayzata next Thursday...gotta get through Hopkins first.
Lake Conference play never fails to excite.

Is it common for the losing team to not remove their gloves for the post-game handshake?

Some teams are being asked to keep their gloves on because of the flu.

Is Hurley still playing for Edina? He hasn't showed up on the score sheet in the last 6 or 7 games...zero points. He's checked out ever since he got a D1 offer.

If you have OCD, yes.
Last time I was at Braemar, there were bathrooms near the locker room as well.

I think Minnesota Hockey has issued a similar advisory in recent days:

He may be missing Malmquist more than everyone thought.

Well, that makes more sense than the Edina players just being totally low rent and keeping their gloves on when the Skippers players removed theirs.
I sure hope that was indeed the reason.
