Same.

Gotta love those innuendos.

Those Trojans are very good defensively. I don't expect much scoring in this one.

3-1 Tonka. They easily carried the play for most of the game. Without Dingman it would have been ugly.

Tonka outplayed Wayzata the entire game. Their only goal was somewhat of a fluke...Ciaccio should have saved that one. Nonetheless, he played much better than he has been playing lately.

Skippers move on to 3-0 in Lake Conference and host EP on Saturday.

I saw that as well but it doesn't hurt when you shorten the ice for the reserves and you let 150lbs run the ice.

So if BSM takes care of business against HF and EP, do they lock up the top seed?

If Tonka can somehow go 8-0 or 7-1 in Lake Conference play, an argument could be made that they deserve it as well....it'll be between those two. With Wayzata's loss last night and their 1-1 record, it is highly unlikely they'll sneak into the top 2 seeds. There is a lot of play left in Lake Conference though; however, I do not see Wayzata winning at Pagel in February.

Tonka77:

I think Way / BSM / Tonka all have a shot still at # 1 seed.

Tonka will have to win out or maybe just lose 1 to have a legitimate chance. (DE game will be important since tonka already lost to them and Way beat them)

If Tonka and BSM are neck and neck at the end of the season you have to give the nod to BSM because of the way they beat tonka.

As always the Lake Conference should be great down the stretch and be the difference one way or the other for Way / Tonka.

My current 6AA seedings:
WAY
BSM
MTKA

Last night was only my second look at him, but I love the potential for the Freytag kid.

I like both Freytag and Sorenson. We could use another skilled player on the top line. 1-800-Call-Rem. Come back home for your Jr and Sr season at Wayzata. With the talent at the Bantam level, the future looks bright over the next few years. Go Trojans !!!
