It was 3-0. Edina doing lots of skating straight into Cretin defensemen, though they started to pick things up late in the 2nd. Their 3rd line has been their best unit in this one.

Final. Mann with the hatty, nice bounce back game for him after a scary incident during the Moorhead game that left him on the ice for a half hour and a trip to the hospital.

Did Edina win?, Hockey Hub has it ending in a tie.

Big reality check for Denfeld.
And for HShockeywatcher, although he will still probably find an excuse to keep them rank ahead of Hermantown.

Edina did win, Jordahl scored in OT. Props to CDH for coming that close!

Denfeld's goal came midway 3rd period, I think I saw 3 Hermantown jersey's out front and a pass from the corner went off a leg or stick and I didn't see a Denfeld player around. It was on other end of ice, but looked like a "fluke".
Thompson proved again how good of a goalie he is and how he carries Denfeld, shots were 17-4 after 1 and tied at 0.
Too bad the refs were quick to get a game going that was getting out of hand and in running time. With just over a minute left they called some penalties, stopped the clock to conserve time? 10 seconds later a Hermantown forward was ran at the blueline...yes, the kid was caught looking the other way, but kid who hit him came off denfeld bench after puck dropped and never broke a stride. Just lit him up-(knocked him out) The clock shouldn't be stopped in these cases as the game is already decided and that's why the clock is running. I don't think it's in anyone's interest to watch a kid lie on the ice like this. It could've been prevented by leaving the clock run... I hope this officiating crew wakes up and realizes they weren't helping anyone by stopping the clock to give out penalties with 60 sec. left in a 7-1 game.
This one ended somewhere like 54-15 SOG. Unless Denfeld was on the power play after about the first 2 minutes of the game they struggled to gain Hermantown's blueline. Denfeld might have had 6 shots on goal even strength.

Mahtomedi 3 Totino Grace 2 in OT.
First period was pretty even. Totino got a shorty off a turnover in the Zephyr zone. Mahtomedi scored very late to end the first 1-1. Totino controlled period two and scored the only goal. Mahtomedi had a slight advantage in the third period scoring once. TJ Roo was all alone in front of the net late in the third, but couldn't score.
Zephyr second line Freshman and Sophomore each had 1G and 1 A, but the all Senior first line bagged the game winner in OT.
Fun game to watch. Shots were close with TG having a slight edge. Great preview for a potential section semi-final.
