Duluth East and Lakeville North scoreless after one; shots 7-6. East's season-long general trend of blah first periods continues. Though they may have been thrown off by North, who came out wearing East's home jerseys.

After 2. Much stronger period for East, as they controlled play and got a PP goal, but it would be nice to see this team score at even strength from time to time.

Hermantown 4 Superior 2 mid 2nd. Wasbotten had goals :41 apart. Superior just scored their 2nd about 8min mark. Hermantown has a few forwards out tonight from 1st and 2nd line.

Final. Mucky defensive game, with East, as is their wont, slowly carrying more of the play as the game went on. (Until North's flurry near the end, when East also took its customary penalty in the last few minutes of a close game.) Both teams looked to be in playoff tune-up mode.
