Heard Lakeville North has gotten some move-ins to bolster the line up. Does this mean North is a lock to not only win the section but also win there ever first round state tourney game(never has won a first round game). Can any one compete with North in the section?

The coach has some hard decisions to make.
How many freshman do I take?
Do I go young at goalie or take the duo I had last year?
How many seniors can I cut without causing a complete meltdown of parents?
or
Do I take all returners from last year and fill in the remaining spots with upperclassmen and make a run for State?

You take the best hockey players.... the ones that will give you the best chance of winning now and in the future. All that other stuff is politics - wait we are talking about Lakeville

Buttend I think you were more accurate the first time. Do I take three kids from the family who supported me getting the job?

Eigner is a complete putz. He thinks he is running a junior team. Trust me when I say, his day is coming. We are so tired of his antics it"s not even funny. Wait till he keeps the third brother, the whole hockey community is going to go crazy.

I think that community is already a little crazy.
Why do you say he is running it like a junior team?

How do you know how a junior team is run? When you say "we", you really meant to say "I".

As a good friend once told me....."you brought that s&%# on yourselves"
It took all of, what?, a little over a year to draw the cross hairs on the new guy!

I don't get that "the running it like a Junior team"' is bad. Kevin Hartzell, Mike Guenzel, Dennis Polonich were some of my junior coaches. IF, he runs it like they did, he will get wins, not friends. Just saying....

Well, maybe bashing the Hastings coaching staff got a little old.

3-4-3 with an attacking wing on one side, defensive on the other. They live off of set pieces and counters, looking to find their opponents flat footed on the pitch.

How did the Bantams do in scrimmages? Sounds like none of them belong at HS this year.

And/or...do I take the freshman player who cannot tryout do to an injury. Oh ya, the players dad is now the new assistant coach. It is a small world!
