Wow. Big Red with 8 forwards on these teams, if that one's not a typo and is indeed a transfer from Anoka.

Assuming it's not a typo I count "only" 7 forwards, plus Miller the goalie who's very good....but I wonder if a couple of the forwards will be asked to move back to D as that appears to be their big weakness....

Indeed, Big Red does get a new transfer from Anoka, through Blaine, last I heard...

What's up with the Elite League this year? The web page is way behind in posting results and stats...anyone have any insight as to which teams look good so far and which players are standing out? Did SSM win their games this past weekend?

It looks like the scores are starting to roll in....still some missing from 9/22 & 9/28 though.

Yes, those four games (two on each date) are still not posted. I'm always curious to see how our high school girls do against SSM.

Minnesota Elite White beat the SSM U19 team 4-3 in a shootout this past weekend. Tied 3-3 after regulation.

A u19 team splitting with a u16 team is a victory for the u19? Makes as much sense as your comment about achiever not getting into state hs league....they are in on the hs we page in section 4a and play a full 25 game schedule.......

Great weekend, starting tonight, to take your daughter to some excellent hockey games. A number of teams from out of state are in town to play against the Elite League teams. Here's a link to the schedule. All games at Fogerty Arena in Blaine.

Championship Game U19

Shattuck 2-1 Elite Black - shots were 57-15 for Black as Shattuck's goalie was amazing today.

3rd Place game

Elite White beats Honeybake 3-1

5th Place Game:

Chicago Mission 6-2 over Elite Red

7th Place Game:

Wisconsin 3-2 over Little Ceasar's - another game where the shots were overwhelming in favor of the losing team.
