Top Sophmore forwards

I have seen about 20 games this year and there are some very skilled 10th graders.I have seen Rosemount 2 times and JT Brown seems to make something happen every time he is on the ice. I saw Hastings play Mounds View and Derek Stepan might of been the best player on both teams, better than Stewart and Dahl from MV. I went to watch Stewart and Dahl both had off nights. I like Tyler Barnes from Burnsville,he can score, and very tough,I have heard James Vig is another good one from Eastview, but have not seenhim play yet. Please comment.

Corey Thorson from Armstrong is a very talented forward. I heard he has 15+ points in 7 games or something. I have only seen him play once this year but he seemed to control the play while he was on the ice.

Jt Brown is a very solid player. great hands, fast, knows how to score. Rosemount also has some other skilled sophomore forwards, James Saintey Nate Percy and Dylan Porter. They contribute very well to Rosemounts team.

Steppan is another SOLID player coming out of hastings. He has great ice vision and knows how to bury the puck when he needs to. Vig is another good forward but lacks the speed.
Maloney as well i think is one of the best forwards in the state. enough said there

I thik that A young man by the name of Tony ROth has really proven himself to be a top sophmore forward. he really looked good playing on that line with Senior David Grun and Senior Jake Hansen <img src=

I agree with Zaid although roth is a senior i think if he had a few more years to blossom he could definately be competitive against some of the top sophmores in the state

While he doesnt have the big numbers yet, I've gotta say Nick Thielen from Moorhead is right up there. I think hes the only sophomore who has seen much ice time so far. Not to mention he's a snipe. That overtime game-winner against Roseau was just pretty.

What it is... Its Knight Time Baby!!!

Edited by: <A HREF=

Keegan Flaherty and Rob Johnson lead the greyhounds
in scoring playing a very difficult schedule. Flaherty
made the National 15's and Johnson made the 16's.

Jared Festler from Little Falls is one amazing hockey player. I do not care what people say. LF does not play the weakest schedule in the world and this kid leads their team in points and puts up big numbers all around the board. Great speed, stcik handling, and VISION.
