Finally something outside of spammers in the Cafe!

Of course, I had to move the topic here.

Let's see how the Vikes screw up getting a top pick in next year's draft, although with this team and its coaches, does it matter how good a pick we get?

The Vikes need 6 first round and six second round picks.
They have ap and a few d players.

Perhaps a new couch, also.

Yup, but that is pretty much a done deal, isn't it?

Would new couches somehow make them more comfortable on the sidelines and limit injuries? :P

Sorry, couldn't resist.

But the Vikings do seem to be doing a lovely job of squandering their shot at a great draft pick, winning another painful overtime game this afternoon.

I said three weeks ago the Chiefs were the most over-rated 9-0 team in NFL history. Since then they've gone to 9-1....9-2.....9-3. If it wasn't for the absence of teams above .500 in the AFC, I'd be wondering if they were going to make the playoffs.

Although............

The Packers may not win another game without Aaron Rogers. Each game the Vikings win puts them further away from the draft picks that they very much need. Chicago misses a very makable kick that because it was missed, may be the straw that breaks the camels back concerning making the playoffs.......They won't make it as the wild card. That leaves the Lions who are so volitile, they could very easily lose their final 4 games...........

The NFC North also does not have a clear "Solid" team...........

One opinion........... :)

Not sure how much this matters after watching Seattle punk the Aints. After the Seahawks, Niners and New Orleans, there appears to be a huge dropoff in the NFC.

Huge drop off

The Panthers are pretty good, my darkhorse to win the NFC. That's the team that can go to Seattle and win, they're defense is great...only allowing 20 points or more twice this season.

Oh yea, the Panthers went to San Francisco and won.
