Edina's schedule seems to give them a challenging game every night.
I would think they would step it up after the loss,
so I will go with Edina 5 - 3.

Will be a close game. Depends how well Edina can contain Wahlin, but I still see Hornets winning by 2 or 3. Giles will have them going after last nights loss to Burnsville.

Can't see the Bears being able to hold Edina off unless Dittel and Wippler play the whole game on D and Gorman stands on his head..5-2 Hornets

I'll be in attendance for this one. Big test here for the Bears, looking forward to seeing how WBL handles their toughest opponent thus far this season.

Bears beat Centennial with Wahlin only getting a point, that's a positive sign I suppose. I'll take the Bears 4-2!

Couldn't tell whether the Bears were horrible or that Edina was very highly motivated after getting out-hustled by Burnsville on Thursday.
Or maybe it was a little of both.
Regardless, the game wasn't as close as the 5-1 score would indicate.

What has happened to Wyatt Newpower. He was probably the best defenseman early on for WB. Lately, all i've seen is him not handling the puck well and just trying to get point. Daddy in his ear...?

I got to braemar early, and caught some jv action. With how bad wbl is after wahlins line offensivley, how is #13 for wbl not skating varsity? Should be playing on the varsity second line.
As for the game, edina was better in every aspect. Talent, spacing and positioning, coaching and finishing. Wbl had numerous powerplays in the 3rd, and they were awful. Sager didn't change the look at all, even after not sniffing a good look on the plenty of pp's prior being snubbed.
Newpower for the bears was a dissapointment. I heard the hype, and he was a below average hs dman last night. Turnover central. #22 and #12 for the bears were impressive along with wahlin, but that was the extent of it.
Sager usually has wbl playing their best at seasons end, I hope they play better closer to march because this was awful. Wahlin played half the game and still wbl looked severly overmatched.
As for edina...wow can #23 skate. His top end speed could not be touched by wbl. Fun kid to watch play. Does he have offers for d1? I know all the rave is for malmquist, but both impressed last night.
Observing both staffs, sager looks panicked the entire night. Edinas on the other hand, completely under control and constantly teaching throughout the game. This could be indicitive of the way the game played out, both staff's abilities, or a combination of the two.
Here's to hoping wbl can rebound and give hil murray a game in a couple weeks.
No. 23 for Edina

The guy you were watching was Tyler Nanne. Amazing how good a kid looks when there's no preconceived desire to think he's obviously overrated because of his parentage. Nice to see some objectivity.
Edina also played the last two periods without leading scorer Cullen Munson, who took a misconduct in the first and Giles benched him the rest of the game.
The game was the first for back up goalie Kobi Boe, who mishandled the puck to give Wahlin an easy goal at the end of the first, but otherwise played great position.
