Are Saturdays outdoor games telivised or livestreamed?

He means January 11. There are 5 games (really 4 since girls play some other game, not hockey) being played at TCF Bank Stadium. There was a thread about it on here, I can't find anything online about whether these are being streamed. I'm still looking though.Hockey North wrote:Jan 11??
Or do you mean the 18th??

There are still some unanswered questions that I know have been asked by at least one of the teams playing at the Bank on Saturday. Not just whether they'd be allowed to webstream the games if somebody else isn't already doing it, but whether they would be allowed onto the field with their cameras and equipment...wouldn't be much value in webstreaming the game if the cameras are confined to the stands.Traxler wrote:He means January 11. I agree with you. I did hear that the stream from The Horn (http://www.thehornwbl.com/) will be audio only due to restrictions by the organizers. Hopefully we'll hear about streams somewhere.almostashappy wrote:There are still some unanswered questions that I know have been asked by at least one of the teams playing at the Bank on Saturday. Here's a day-old tweet with a fan's-eye view of the Bank's rink from the stands: http://ow.ly/i/4dC8f I guess a video feed from the seats would be better than audio-only.Traxler wrote:I agree with you. I was told it was an NHL size rink.almostashappy wrote:Here's a day-old tweet with a fan's-eye view of the Bank's rink from the stands: http://ow.ly/i/4dC8f I guess a video feed from the seats would be better than audio-only.Traxler wrote:I agree with you. Oh, in case anyone's interested, here's a more recent tweet that shows the glass up and the ice going down: https://vine.co/v/h3qwhOUaVWi. Can anyone tell from the picture or video clip whether it is an olympic-sized sheet?
Almost - I assumed your mystical, yet prominent influence over all things Wildcat Hockey would have ensured that the City of EaganTV crew would giving those who want to stay home a front row seat to the action - at least for the one game Wildcat backers have had circled on their calendars since last February? What gives?almostashappy wrote:Here's a day-old tweet with a fan's-eye view of the Bank's rink from the stands: http://ow.ly/i/4dC8f I guess a video feed from the seats would be better than audio-only.Traxler wrote:I agree with you. The for-profit Chicago-based promotion company gives out the invitations, so it's their call.OneMoreYear wrote: Almost - I assumed your mystical, yet prominent influence over all things Wildcat Hockey would have ensured that the City of EaganTV crew would giving those who want to stay home a front row seat to the action - at least for the one game Wildcat backers have had circled on their calendars since last February? I almostashappily stand corrected.Traxler wrote:I emailed Bill Behrns and he replied very quickly and told me that all five games will be streamed live on www.mnhockeyhub.com.
So far they've sold between 43,000 and 44,000 tickets. If the weather's decent it should be a great atmosphere.Nuts&Bolts wrote:Without 50,000 people in the stands the Gopher game may even lack some atmosphere with the rink that far away from the seats. Anybody know the expected attendance for the Gopher game?
With that many people the parking is going to be tough with all the snow. Any shuttle service avaiable?MNHockeyFan wrote:So far they've sold between 43,000 and 44,000 tickets. I didn't know hockey hub livestreamed any games, earlier in the season, the guys from the horn told me MSBN had the rights to the high school games.almostashappy wrote:I almostashappily stand corrected.Traxler wrote:I emailed Bill Behrns and he replied very quickly and told me that all five games will be streamed live on www.mnhockeyhub.com.
Don't know about shuttle service, but I do know that the Gopher ticket office was selling parking reservations in advance, which my brother and I did take advantage of.mulefarm wrote:With that many people the parking is going to be tough with all the snow. Any shuttle service avaiable?
Bars/eateries that run free shuttles to TCF for home football games may do the same for the Hockey Classic. O'Gara's Grill in St. Paul is one example: http://www.ogaras.com/events-detail/mn- ... r-classic/ Check on-line for other options that might be more convenient for your location.mulefarm wrote: With that many people the parking is going to be tough with all the snow. I know Gabe's by the Park has a bus. The Gopher Blue Line Club will sometimes have luncheons there, so I'm guessing they'll be another option, good for people who live on the St. Paul side.almostashappy wrote:Bars/eateries that run free shuttles to TCF for home football games may do the same for the Hockey Classic. I could park in my old frat house's lot and go here for dinner and their shuttle: http://www.blarneymn.com/almostashappy wrote:Bars/eateries that run free shuttles to TCF for home football games may do the same for the Hockey Classic.
