Hey, does anybody know which districts will go to which Regional (National or American). Is it always the same districts? For example last year for 14UA, National Region consisted of D2, D6 & D8. American was D10, D3 & D5, and of course Olympic was Northern Teams.

Is that always the same each Year? Does it change for each level (12U, 14U).

Any idea when we might see Regional Brackets posted?

Changes every year. In 14U for example, the two metro region hosts are D3 and D10. They were in the same region last year. I can only assume they will be in separate regions this year. The brackets should be coming soon.

I'll give this one a shot:
14UA American

NE Metro vs. Tonka
NE Metro is on a roll coming off a sweep of the Woodbury Tournament and then winning the D2 Districts.
Tonka finished 2nd in D6 playoffs, both losses to Edina Green.
NE Metro wins this one by one goal in a low scoring game.

Blaine vs. Chaska-Chan
Blaine won their D10 League and their Playoff, been a top 3 ranked team most of the year - good team, sounds like if their 14U age elig players don't make Varisity, then the play 14U vs. JV? I like that if that is true (see 14U vs. JV thread)
Chaska-Chan coming in as 3 seed out of D6, had to win the play-in game, usually a good squad.
Blaine wins this one by a few goals

Edina Green vs. Anoka
Edina Green - enough said...It's Edina Green and everyone else battling for the other spots.
Anoka draws the short stick on the bracket -- good skating team, can play physical when needed, good girls program and will compete for that 3rd spot.
Edina Green - I know...out on a limb right -- wonder if Anoka can keep it under 5 goal difference.

Elk River vs. Stillwater Black
Elks coming in out of D10, 2 good goalies and a couple of very dangerous players
Stillwater Black coming in as the 2 seed out of D2, good skating team, goaltending and Defense will determine how they do (like most teams)
Both teams evenly matched, one goal game goes in favor of the Ponies

After all is said and done the 3 teams moving on are:
Edina Green
NE Metro
Blaine
